WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO GO ON A MISSION TRIP?
THERE REALLY IS NO MINIMUM AGE AS LONG AS CHILDREN ARE ACCOMPANIED BY THEIR PARENTS. IF COMING WITHOUT PARENTS IN A GROUP, WE ASK THAT MINORS BE NO YOUNGER THAN 16. .
CAN I ORGANIZE AN EVENT AT MY HOME OR CHURCH?
​Hosting an event at your home OR CHURCH creates an opportunity to experience and talk about what Jesus is doing in peoples lives in Costa Rica and the needs and challenges we face in this amazing mission field. Whether your guests know Jesus or not, the most important thing for MAP COSTA RICA are opportunities to share Jesus and celebrate His presence. Together as His body we can make an impact in the World.
WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO FUNDRAISING?
We rely on building relationships through times of: acoustic worship, prayer, and testimonies of what Jesus is doing amongst us. From those relationships come sponsors or gifts to the ministry. We have done this with small church groups, Sunday school classes etc..
