HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! We are excited to announce our Mission Trip to Costa Rica from Jan 12-Feb 4th.

.  The object of this mission

To bring some encouragement and discipleship to the leaders of our church in Costa Rica.  To have several training sessions for the whole congregation on how to deal with conflict in the church, and another session for evangelism training.  We also have some strategic meetings planned with other pastors in different regions of CR.  These trips always involve extensive driving on difficult roads.

    Our primary needs for this trip

The registration of our vehicle, gas (which is very pricey down there),

and groceries for our host families.   If anyone would like to help we would greatly appreciate it.

Also Jessica was diagnosed with thyroid cancer a week before Christmas.  She went to the Urgent Care in November because of a poking feeling in the throat.  The verse of the day said, “From the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death.”  Awesome!  She has been able to share that verse with people that don’t know the Lord and with medical staff.  They always get goosebumps!  It should be impossible for her to feel anything because they rarely catch a nodule this small.  So I praise God because He is on top of everything. When we get back in February we will begin the process of getting her set up for a thyroidectomy in San Antonio.

3 No car problems!! Last year our vehicles gave us the hardest time but this year will be victorious!
